Let's share our USSR engraved stamps!

I think my best engraved set from USSR is the one issued on February 27, 1975 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the birth of Michelangelo, designed by German Komlev. Note stamps are combined engraved and lithographed.

- David, Gallery of the Academy of Florence, Florence, Italy, engraved by Lidiya Mayarova
- Crouching Boy, The State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia, engraved by Vladimir Smirnov
-The Rebellious Slave, Louvre Museum, Paris, France, Tatiana Nikitina
- The Creation of Adam, Sistine Chapel ceiling, Vatican, Italy, engraved by Vladimir Smirnov
-Staircase of the Laurentian Library, Florence, Italy, engraved by Ivan M. Mokrousov
- Christ and the Virgin, Sistine Chapel ceiling, Vatican, Italy, engraved by Ivan M. Mokrousov

It tells the friendship between the two heroes, Avtandil and Tariel, and the quest to find the object of love, Nestan-Darejan.
