Many thanks, jorgesurcl, for starting this thread. The great works of ABNC like the stamps you posted, deserve a special thread.

I have few sets of stamps engraved and printed by the ABNC to share here. The first is a set from Belgium issued To publicize the Summer Olympic Games held in Antwerp in 1920. The stamps were designed and engraved by the ABNC but I have no the engravers names. Year later, on May 6, 1921, the stamps were revalued and reissued.

In regard to the scholarship value of this thread (and many others like it), and the recent "CORRECTION to a previous post" posting, may I suggest adding brief bibliographic references to where this engraver information is coming from? Thanks in advance.

Hi
I made the previous correction because I initially attributed the frame/lettering engraving of the entire series to E.Farrington. But a second revision of the Index Copy Cards (ABNC) allowed G.H.Seymour to be included with the engraving of the 50 cts.

These are my sources
About engravers and their works:
The Collectors Club Philatelist
The Engravers Line - Gene Hessler
The Essay-Proof Journal

More accurate information:
Index Copy Cards - American Bank Note Co.
Signed proofs
ABNC archives - Work orders
National archives - Canada

US Census, etc.
