Bran, click on "home" on top of this page. It will take you to a page where all the different topics are listed. Just find the one you want - is this what you wanted?

Thanks Peter. Much appreciated. And as for dkaq....I know they aren't but clearly you didn't read anything after that. Lol. It's all good. No worries. On a different note anyone here suggest any topics of any "hot" or stamps "in demand" right now? I have a pretty large collection and would like to try and sell some of them.

Bran, please do not keep hijacking this post. And also, you can not yet sell on this forum until you have 50 posts. They will come soon enough

Robert,

There are a lot of options for that one. Most are from the Deutsche Bank.

Robert,

DB -- The catalog lists 40+ uses of this perfin., so there's no way to narrow it down unless you can ID the cancel location. Most of the listings are for branches of either the Deutsches Bank or Dresdner Bank.

H -- This is another one that's impossible to nail down without deciphering the cancel location. The catalog lists 30+ different uses, and unlike the DB listing, the companies are varied and appear unrelated.

OB -- Ostbank für Handel und Gewerbe (Eastern Bank for Trade and Commerce), Königsberg, 1922-1929.

GM/C -- One of the following:

- Gebr. Märklin (Märklin Brothers), metal toy manufacturer, Göppingen, 1922-1936.
- Gebr. Müllensiefen (Müllensiefen Brothers), glass manufacturers, Witten, 1922-1937.
- Glasfabrik Crengeldanz (Crengeldanz Glass Manufacturers), Witten, 1926-1931.

CA -- Allg. Deutsche Credit-Anstalt (General German Credit Institute), Leipzig, 1922-1939.

M.G. -- Max Grünhut, shipping company, Hamburg, 1907-1940.

The 5pf with the H perfin seems to be postmarked Bielefeld. The other two are too indistinct to make a determination.

In that case the H perfin would be Arnold Holste Witwe, a maufacturer of agricultural and medical chemicals, Bielefeld, 1912-1928.

Hello! This is my first post, I am an Argentine philatelist, I dedicate myself especially to collecting postal history of Germany and especially those pieces circulated with the series Germania.

I recently got this card sent to Cape Colony and wanted to know if they know who the perfin RM is for.

From already thank you very much!
