Interesting topic.
I was going to start a wine topical collection a couple of years back.
But decided not to considering I have a few topics that still need a lot of work.

Please keep them coming

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a collision between an automobile and a liquor glass, designed by French poster artist Pierre Félix Masseau after original artwork by "Bey," engraved by Claude Jumelet, and issued by France on September 5, 1981 to publicize a French highway safety slogan: Boire ou conduire, il faut choisir! (Drink or drive, one must choose), Scott No. 1768.

Here is a hand-drawn cachet for the resumption of sales of 3.2% beer, although the date is somewhat suspect:

The Cullen-Harrison Act, signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 22, 1933, authorized the sale of 3.2% beer (thought to be too low an alcohol concentration to be intoxicating) and wine, with the first legal beer sales since the beginning of Prohibition on January 16, 1920.

=====
This cover also illustrates the 8c airmail rate in effect for only two years, July 1932 to July 1934. Previously, the 1-ounce rate had been 5c; I have never been able to discover the reasoning behind raising the rate 60% during the Depression.
