Socked all around the nose at Bhor

SG 3, though there are some killjoys who doubt this was ever properly used as a postage stamp.

I can't imagine you missed it Puzzler (I was so pleased with it, I put it everywhere, but just in case ... Here is the sheet of the Jammu stamp, with the 1 Anna value in the bottom left corner:

I sorted about 0.5kg of on-paper Machin kiloware tonight, from a dealer I haven't used before. In addition to four stamps with denominations at or above 1 pound, I found this lovely:

That yield's about right for me -- I average about 2 stamps/kg of the quality for my album -- but this might be my best for M.K.

Pretty close...

This place needed a rebranding if ever any place did...

Nossi Be is an island off the north end of Madagascar, and Helville is its capital, so to speak. The town was renamed to Andoany at some point in time.

That stamp has intrigued me since I first collected,
A traveller's tree, and what looks like a racoon climbing on
someones gravestone

That is one classy SON.
I'll hijack and put that with my "hell" collection.

Well, I don't know exactly what the lemur is doing...climbing on someone's tombstone is just as plausible as anything I can guess at.

I wonder if it is a local legend/fable/what have you...?
