Ok, Revcollector,

Duh! I went back into my album and low and behold my single (from the photo) was
a block just as you described, so undoubtedly it is true....

Here are a few errors and variations from my collection...







The stamp below displays a reverse die cut error (12 peaks on the left, 11 on the right) of which I believe only 7 with the plate number are known to exist.

I don't really collect US stamps but I have a question with the no period nebr, is the font also different or are my eyes playing a trick on me?
