Hi Boreraig,
455 is Murwillumbah.
Hi Pshann,
That looks like a frank stamp. Hopefully someone more conversant on Victoria can chime in with some details.

The stamps were probably folded along perforation lines and several punched at the same time. |

Hi folks, A big thank you from me. I have loved the kindness and information you have given me in the last few weeks. My father was a collector and bought job lots, I think. So 30 years ago I inherited thousands of, mainly unsorted stamps. My lovely wife told me I had to get rid of them before I died or she would burn them. A chap from Riddells Creek took a lot to sort and sell through the Brighton Philatelic Society and I kept many colonials and early Australian, (Kangaroo and KGV mainly) to sort myself. I have been going through the states, but the task is too big, so I have passed those stamps on to the Brighton people. That leaves me with several thousand KGV to play with. Can one of you advise me which site to turn to for help and/or which site I can use so that I can still rely on your help and guidance. Once again many thanks for your help and patience.. Don |

Someone in the Brighton Philatelic Society who saw my KGV with SO instead of OS, thinks it is worth getting it verified. I have emailed the RPSV to ask for the contact details of someone who might be able to do the honours. Do any of you have a suggestion please. |

I've had a reply from the RPSV and they asked for a photo of the reverse side so I thought I'd post it here too. |
