Picked these up yesterday and thought I'd share. Overall, a very attractive design.

This is the German "With Our Flags to Victory" series. The cards were ordered by the KdF-Sammlergruppen (KdF Stamp Collectors Association). They were designed by Axster-Heüdtlass, and were issued on 20 April 1941 to commemorate Hitler's 52d birthday.

They depict various German military units.

Mi P243/01 -- Paratroopers

Mi P243/02 -- Anti-Aircraft Artillery

Mi P243/03 -- Motorcycle Troops

Mi P243/04 -- Naval Artillery

Mi P243/05 -- Rocket Artillery

Mi P243/06 -- Pioneer Corps

Mi P243/07 -- Motor Torpedo Boat

Mi P243/08 -- Stuka

Magnificent cards Postmaster

With those designs, I can well understand why they are so popular.

Thanks for posting them.

Very nice pieces.

Have you noticed the unusual pink flag in "Mi P243/05 -- Rocket Artillery"?

The Borek Catalog shows the flag as red in that design so I wonder if your pink flag is a result of a printing error?

That's the correct color. I have Alsace and Lorraine overprints of these cards, and they both share the same color. In addition MAR Historical has several of these for sale, and they're also pinkish.

On closer inspection the illustration in my catalog appears redish probably due to underexposure.

Nevertheless, a pink nazi flag - very interesting and unusual, I think!

Actually the colour (Waffenfarbe) of the armoured troops including the panzers was pink.

I forgot about that, and now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense. Rocket artillery was Bordeaux Red, which looks kinda pink.
