Missed the last 2 days. Glad to see others on here though. I LOVE those groundhog day covers. Wasn't aware there were such things.

University Hill, British Columbia, February 7, 1939



University Hill was a postoffice located at 5708 University Boulevard near the University of British Columbia (hence the name) in the Vancouver area. In August 1939 it became a suboffice of Vancouver.

As I had prepared one for today, too, I show it as well.
K(öniglich) WÜRTT(embergische) POST means Royal Mail of Württemberg. Although part of the German Empire (founded in 1871) the kingdom of Württemberg had retained the right to issue its own stamps. Uniform postage stamps for all of Germany were introduced only in 1920.
Here we have a 10 Pfennigs postmarked 11 FEB (19)01 SULZ upon NECKAR river. Enjoy.
