Hi,
The book "Porto-Fibel Deutschland" (whose image is below) clearly has three authors, referred to on the cover as "Weber, Bley & Richnow".
The second and third authors are Joachim Bley and Klaus Richnow, but does anyone know the first name of the first author, Herr Weber?

I doubt it is Claude Weber or Robert L. Weber, both of whom write on thematics. Nor K.B. Weber who wrote on US Airmails, or R.E.J. Weber, who does not write in German. Possibly Bodo Weber, who has done one book on postmarks, but I really have no idea.

Any information would be appreciated.

Weber, David; Bley, Joachim; Richnow, Klaus are the names but it is not sure that they are all authors. As it is written they are part owner of the publishing company.

Thank you, aolsson, for that missing piece of information. Many other sources credit these three people as authors, so it may be that they are both the part-owners (as you point out) and they put the book together. They may have roles like editor, compiler and the like, in addition to owning the firm that publishes the book.
They do have another book, similar, and I illustrate it here for no particular reason, other than it looks good!
