Backordered everywhere. Strange to say the least. Amos better hope they get this one out way before the 2026 is in sight. I mean, this is an annual so if I could not get the new edition when released at what point does it only make sense to wait. |

Speculation is that Amos can't pay its printer. No idea if that is actually what is going on. However, if the problem was with the printer, or some sort of computer issue, I would expect Amos to be more forthcoming. |

Amos Media is back order on many items including printed Coin World and Scott Stamp Monthly issues for the last 3 months. This seemed tol happen about the time Amos announced digital only issues for Linn's.
Some have posted responses from Amos cusomer service about but none had any date.
Here is a response to Ken Lawrence in early October for Scott Stamp Monthly delays.
Unfortunately, due to internal administrative and print production challenges, your magazines will arrive later than usual. The digital versions continue to be available as scheduled. At this time, we do not have an anticipated reinstate date for mailing the print issues but hopefully it will not be much longer.

Quote:PPG - Your screenshots show the catalogs as back ordered . Yes, that was the point plus the fact there has been no reduction in the price of the 2024 versions which are effectively out of date. I like the note that the 2024 cat was the latest edition. Not shown was the 2025 UN Cat which was issued. |

I do wonder how significant the loss of revenue was to Amos when the eBay seller who sold country page sets from cut up catalogues closed up shop after the fire. I'm sure he accounted for a significant volume of the total sales for Volumes 1 - 6. There may be a lot of unsold 2025 catalogues eating up space at the moment.

As a 'victim' of non-receipt of the printed monthly I take special notice of the Amos special product sales & I am finding many items (especially group package items) of the package deals are back ordered. I have not received my November printed monthly issue and I suspect I will not receive the December, nor receive a credit or subscription extension, even if asked, ( should be automatic & missing issues go back to September/October). Maybe a Better Business Bureau investigation or complaint is needed (or Ohio State AG investigation)?? very frustrating!!!! |

FWIW, I bought a copy of the US Essay/Proof catalog from a dealer here in L.A. about 2 weeks ago. |

I picked up my copy in Sacramento, CA at SACAPEX (11-2-2024) from Michael Jaffe who was also still offering the 2025 Specialize at pre-release pricing. Put my order in and will await delivery just like all others. . |

I do wonder how significant the loss of revenue was to Amos when the eBay seller who sold country page sets from cut up catalogues closed up shop after the fire. Amos/Scott's strategy was to extract maximum revenue by getting customers to buy more than they need. This was the goose laying golden eggs. The digital pricing at same as printed but now just annual rental was a continuation of this. The impact to sales is unknown. It has been at least 3 months without an official statement on why they have not printed the SSM and Coin World nor delivered the printed 2025 while the digital versions are available for everything. The last couple of years feature removed sections and smaller images to keep price down. This article summarizes information from the various forums. I was the one that noticed there has not been a printed Coin World for the same period. https://virtualstampclub.com/lloydblog/?p=18592 |
