Wish: Regarding The "Previous Page" Link

I'm new to this forum. When I choose a topic to read, I usually start at the newest post (which is at the bottom of the latest page). Then I look toward the past to read the next-newest, etc. When I reach the top of the page, then I want to continue on the previous page.

When I click on Previous Page, it brings me to the top of that page.

My wish is that the "Previous Page" link would go to the end of the previous page, so the continuity toward the past will continue to flow. I realize that's more difficult to program, but it's still a wish.

Of course, the "Next Page" link should still go to the top of the next page, which it does.
