I collect to about 1990 for some countries, 1940 for others and 1970 for still others. Really I collect to the album. I use all the major brands plus Steiner.

Here is a view of a common worldwide set which is found in most large worldwide collections . Building a large worldwide collection means tens of thousands of sets like this . Not eye candy as some pages but needed to establish a impressive size collection .

It is the basic foundation of any collection .

One of my Ifni pages just completed. Also wondering if anyone can help me determine the difference between Ifni sc #2 and sc #35. Thanks.

Floortrader- Thank you for the help. Also, do I need to be resizing these page images, so they are smaller like the ones you post. Just want to be helpful to the thread and everyone reading. Just looks like mine take up a lot more space.

Hey Kyle,

On my laptop, your scans and Floortraders look to be the same size. Sometimes he crops the height of his scans if the set is less than a full page. But otherwise they look the same to me. :)

As I'm finally going thru all my glassines and albums to create my steiner pages for my new system I'm starting to realize that I have more gaps and incomplete sets than I thought.

This is the one thing about using albums to store your collection. Unless you leave an empty spot in a stockbook if you are using that form or using 102 cards, there is no way to know what's missing at a glance unless you put a special note of some kind. Maybe other collectors can tell us what they do for their own collections.

I keep lists for what I don't have. When setting up album pages I leave a space, even if the stamp (or postmark) never comes. Saves a lot of time and hassle down the track!
