This fascinating certificate arrived yesterday. When I did a little Googling I discovered that this was, in fact, a stock scam! The machine certainly looks intricate and perhaps it had some merit, but the company's president left for Europe to "pursue international sales" and never came back. Eventually the company went into receivership. Does anyone have more information about this company?

Hi Greg,

This company issued a test stamp, in three different colors. They're listed in the Scott Specialized. Shown below are some of the patent numbers for their machine.

Very helpful, Jim -- thank you! So it was a newspaper mailing machine. I wonder if "reels" at the end of the machine were for applying stamps.
