Deep-blue Minnesota, New Jersey, and New Hampshire all have legislated changes concerning youth aged 14-18, not just red states. The bills have targeted narrow changes like lengthening allowed working hours, not "eliminating most restrictions on labor."

[q[...a dark aspect of the electric push by the USPS....[/q]

The electric experiment was not chosen by the USPS, rather forced upon the USPS by the federal government administration.

Edit: I hope they work better than the failed experiments of electric garbage truck and school busses which remain mostly parked due to lack of adequately useful hours per charge and awaiting repair parts.

How about the USPS is allowed to write an RFP for all vehicles, electric, ICE, steam, solar and fairy dust, and picks the one that offers the best cost/benefit for the intended use. Or they could write a performance spec around exactly what they really want. If we look in the rearview mirror, we see that the contract went back and forth between EV and ICE with the initial award going to ICE vehicles. That is when Congress got involved and told them what they needed (tongue in cheek).

Previous comments were getting a wee bit political, but the conversation has veered back to stamp related discussion. Let's keep it that way please.
