I saw something posted on Twitter from someone who was involved with a competing design. He stated that the design was inevitably going to end up looking something like that because of the USPS's specs (ex., have to be able to reach a mailbox while sitting in the driver's seat, not have a blindspot up front, certain height/width/length limitations, cargo volume, etc.).

I'll say this -- it will be distinctive.

I am sure you are correct Postmaster, But in my opinion Walkman should have won the bid. His truck is self driving, and knowing "Cars" self delivering.
Cheers

I did click the link and you end up having to clear at least 3 ad overlays to read it.

This design would have come with the added benefit of greatly improved service. It was rejected however.

From the article jleb1979 linked above ( well worth skimming at least ) carriers like them, they are made in South Carolina and they are electric. Works for me, but I am a pragmatist, not an aesthetician.

Well Red States are actively repealing most restrictions on labor in the US, including child labor. So soon you can add exploitation of child labor in the fossil fuel industries in the US, especially in Arkansas and Oklahoma...but spreading quickly..

Mine was not a partisan political comment but merely pointing out a dark aspect of the electric push by the USPS. The mistreatment of children should be something everyone condemns regardless of political views.
