Sorting stamps I found this interesting precancel on just one German stamp from 2000. Its about the switch to Euro from the Deutsche Mark (which was still used in 1999).
It reads (translated): 'Is your franking machine set to the Euro already?'
Its a nice reminder and just bought back some history memories (before my time) that I found interesting to share. anyone else got a German mailstamp with such precancel?
