This thread is for the wildest shifts of some stamps I have, often due to misregistrations and other problems. I enjoy searching for the ones that are above and beyond even the more common shifts, particularly where it exposes the actual stamp's composition.

This first here is a 1541a block of four. While there are several major errors association with color omissions (1541b yellow and blue omitted and a rare red black and purple omitted) that presents really nicely, this here I just acquired.

Here are 2 more.
1478,1479. 1478 has a red omitted.
This var has all it's colors.

Love the black and white section details.
I will scan in a few more vars of this, as errors were more common on these.

Tom Sawyer stamps are popular in EFO circles. This one I find cool because of the shadowing effect.
1470var

There are a few major 1470 errors (black and deep red b, and litho colors c) which highlight the design elements amazingly.

While at first glance at the boys it looks the same, look at the left and right margins.

Old Dag Hammarskjöld can't hold a candle to these shifts.

These are great, Rismoney and Eyeonwall. I too like how they reveal the process behind a successfully printed stamp.

My Goodness,

I did not realise that there were so many of these varieties in the US stamps.

What happened to the quality control?

Here is a not insignificant shift from Zambia.

Just picked this one up. I hadn't seen the shift this extreme before.
