What's the problem? They send material all over the world. I've never had any difficulties with things not appearing.

Nice. Maybe I will give it a try.
I was a bit worried about the extra processing fees DHL charges in addition to the shipping fee.

Not too sure if they are sending it by DHL courier company or DHL Deutsche Post.
If it is DHL Deutsche Post that would be great.
I had a negative experience with DHL courier.
1 lost package that never arrived and another that appeared over half a year after it was sent. The tracking status had stopped updating and I thought it was lost like the first one until it showed up.

I trade stamps with people in Germany before. Deutsche Post is very reliable.
When I read the shipping information on Nordfrim, I am a bit wary to try. Worried it does not arrive and plus additional fees...

My memory is that my last delivery from them was sent via Deutsche Post, but that was a while ago. I hadn't heard that DHL charges additional fees. Were these customs duties?

Additional to the customs duties. I would rather pay for the customs duties myself than to have them pay for me in advance and charge me extra for helping me pay in advance. Recent hike in the taxes here and it has been extended to apply to low-value purchases from overseas from registered sellers and this is where I am confused as well.

I am ok with paying the additional duties/ taxes but I am not ok when DHL decides to charge additional fees for "helping" to pay for taxes/ duties.

It will not be worth it for me if it is sent by DHL because the additional fees is even more expensive than the taxes/ duties and shipping combined.

DHL calls it advance payment I think, they help you pay the necessary taxes/ duties and help with the customs clearance process, and they charge you for that service.
This problem does not happen when my items come in by post. It is just the taxes/ duties. Even if there was a processing fee, it would still be a lot more reasonable compared to DHL.

In short, I find the process a lot less complicated with normal post compared to DHL, which has additional fees related to the customs duties and it is not reliable. 2 out of 2 times I run into problems with DHL, never again.

If it is Deutsche Post, I will gladly give Nordfrim a go.
I am not trying to evade customs duties/ taxes. I will still have to pay them if it comes in by post.
I am just put off by DHL as a choice of shipping. Past negative experience + I know they charge additional fees.

I used to buy a lot of the Tubfrim green label kilo boxes from Norway. The charity has been taken over by Norway Post, who shut it down, then revived it a bit, sort of in limbo now. Nordfrim seems to have bought most of the Tubfrim remainder stock.
I still have about 15 kilos of the green from 1998- 2001. Nothing spectacular, but worth processing. Also that era was nice with the change over to Euro denominated stamps from Western European countries in the green label which is roughly 60% Norway and 40% other countries. Red label was almost all Norway. Blue label was older Norway with bundles and mainly definitives.
