Stamp ID Questions In The Main Forum

A lot of our new members don't know where to post their "Help me ID this Stamp" questions, so I made a new support FAQ for them: http://goscf.com/t/51817

Since this is the "Family Stuff" forum, I'm sharing it here to ask you long-term members to help set a good example.

There are a couple of users here with literally hundreds of posts that continue to put every question in the Main forum. And we long-suffering moderators have to clean up behind you and move them to a more-appropriate place.

The lesson, for new and experienced alike, is that you get MUCH better answers when your question is in the appropriate sub-forum.

That's great KirkS. Is it going to be seen on the home page with a sub title so it can be seen when we log on to the site? Maybe a tab or something?

I think I am "bumping" this topic.

I am a new user for the site and probably have posted in the wrong place more than once already.

Is there a "search the site" topic or function? One of the reasons I have posted in the general forum is not being to locate a similar topics to which I wish to post.

I will look harder, and if something looks close, go there instead.
