Hungary issued a stamp for the International Geophysical Year depicting the Sun and an observatory. Scott 1217, issued March 14, 1959.

Indonesia issued two stamps on the 40th anniversary of the Bosscha Observatory, which is in Lembang, West Java. The observatory was completed in 1928. Scott numbers 740-741, issued September 20, 1968.

Ireland issued a stamp on the 200th anniversary of the Dunsink Observatory which was established in 1785. Scott number 608, issued March 14, 1985.

Japan issued a stamp for the 100th anniversary of the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory. The sky shows the constellation Orion. Scott number 1350, issued December 1, 1978.

Japan issued a stamp for the opening of the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory which was founded in 1960. Scott number 707, issued on October 19, 1960.

Japan issued a stamp on the Kiso Observatory, that is located on Mt. Ontake, Nagano Prefecture. I believe the stamp shows the Rosette Nebula, NGC 2237-9, & 2246. The star cluster is NGC2244 and is associated with the diffuse nebula, in the constellation Monoceros. Scott number Z280, issued April 9, 1999.

South Korea issued at least five stamps on the Kyongju Observatory, also known as the Chomsongdae Observatory. It is located in Gyeongju. The observatory was established in the 7th century during Queen Seondeok's Leadership (632-647). Scott number 69, issued in 1946; Scott 94 issued October 1, 1948; Scott 238 & 237, issued on December 4, 1956; and Scott 1258, issued in 1981.

Mexico issued a stamp of the El Caracol Observatory which was established around the year 906. It is located at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan. Scott C356, issued on November 1, 1969.

New Zealand issued two stamps on the Centenary of the Royal Society of New Zealand to promote Science. The second stamp (Scott 407) that shows Sir James Hector, who was chancellor of the University of New Zealand. Scott numbers 406-407, issued October 10, 1967.

Peru issued at least seven stamps on the Inca Solar Observatory. Some of the stamps had surcharges on them. Scott numbers C420-422, issued April 1975; C187, issued 1962-63; Scott number C211, issued Jan 1967; Scott C119 issued 1953-1960; Scott C160, issued December 9, 1959.
