Here's another. 1913 US Postage Due (Q7). The South Dakota box cancel is pretty heavy, but you can see the dedicated postal worker carrying his charges to his waiting chariot.  |

Mailman happens to be one of my topical collections. In order to know what are the issues depicting the mailman I searched the German Michel online catalogue with keywords, looked at about 15,000 results and found about 480 stamps. Shown below is the earliest stamp I could find so far, Mexico 1895, and postcard with that stamp. Klaus   |
