fifia - Great topic idea!

Rural - and I do mean RURAL - delivery: Tsimandoa mail carrier, designed and engraved by Pierre Béquet, and issued by Malagasy on May 13, 1973 for Stamp Day, Scott No. 487.

Must be a tough delivery route if you have to do it armed. Note the spear. Yappy dogs beware.

Here is a beauty!
This boatservice started on April 8, 2005.
Motor-driven boats are prohibited in the Spreewald, getting around with the rudder is necessary. On the eight kilometre-long route, the delivery on workdays is for currently 80 households, 20 vacation homes and scenic restaurants.

This should be a good thread Fifia, I'm surprised that no one
has thought of it before.

Here is a block of Canadian postal workers representing letter carriers,
sorting clerks, mail truck drivers and postal station clerks.

Nice ones litho, I'd forgotten about that series.

US Special Delivery. I think we can assume the had on the right is a postal worker.

No need to make assumptions with these -- a se-tenant strip of 10 from 1973.

I'm not sure if postal riders are acceptable. Fifia I need a ruling

Yes, I think everything what has to do with a human being moving mail/messages is acceptable.

Thanks for all the compliments. I have my good (brilliant) moments.

Here is another, crazy German one. A mailman with a 'letter kinderwagen'!

A Postman doing a funny walk whilst delivering Christmas goodies...

...
As you can see [right], when you post letters in Denmark they fall out through the bottom of the postbox.
No matter, they still get delivered [left] by that smiling Postman not yet doing his funny walk !

The Postman Knocks twelve times...

Here, he knocks only once !

More deliveries later......
