Nice one Rod! - good that you didn't remove tapes, that made me to read the trivia on honey . Great to know that honey never goes bad - recently I found a jar of honey, shows 3 years out from the used-by date...

Here I found one which is not featured here yet.

Bees, check
Honey Bee stamps or better yet stamps on honey bees, check
About beekeeping, check
About apiculture, check

Thus this illustration seems on point of the thread topic:

In the USA this was (and still is) how you often get your queens, you ordered them mail order.

Aha! great one, Parcelpostguy.
The box must be vibrated or making noise: dzzzzzzzzz dzzzzzzzzz, and "special handling" mark suggests not to shake the box too badly..?

This one is from recent "pollinators" series, and of course a bee is one of them.

I am surprised that many variety of insects are involved in pollination. http://www.collectgbstamps.co.uk/ex...?issue=22923

"Bee Hotel"

Are they that tiny as drink straws? I designed and made bee houses for an auction house years ago, using their old catalogue pages rolled (snap below ).

I wasn't sure what the activity of this stamp below, but now I know that they are harvesting honey - thanks to the Ukraine sheet on page 6!

I remember reading an article says this little mount under the tree, bottom middle of this stamp is a beehive - but cannot recall where or which URL...

Would you agree this is beehive?
