R66a block of nine.

All Scott #9, Ty IV. Texas covers with imperforate 1c stamps are quite tough to find.

OK. My last Hawaiian cover for this topic, (to not bore the audience who are not interested in Hawaiian covers). BTW, Sandwich Islands was the previous name used prior to being called the "Hawaiian Islands". From Bangor, Maine to Honolulu.

Nice.

The Allen correspondence generated a lot of multiple-rate covers.
I have one that is a double rate with two 10c 1851s.
If I recall correctly that cover was silk, and just itself, was quite heavy.

Greetings,

Contribution from Japan - classic hand engraved (etched) revenue stamps, with block of 3rd Issue 10 Sen blue and two vertical pairs, on document dated Meiji 14 (1881). Not a massive block, but I love the contrast of blue revenue stamps, red cancellations, and the beautiful handwriting which we miss nowadays.

Here's a pair of registered covers franked with multiple stamps.
Not much on the front...

Its all on the back! The contents of the envelope were "lumpy", the pairs and strips held the cover in that position, still won't lie flat!

All on the front.
