Hi Folks! Not sure how this works. Trying something new. I'm interested in the Ukraine stamps issued in recent years after the Russian invasion. I guess please let me know if you are trying to sell some. Thanks!

There were quite a few for sale on ebay after they were released, but prices went nuts with speculation. Good luck.

Thanks! I saw some on eBay and Hipstamp. But I'm just not too sure how to trust the eBay sellers. So I thought I might try here just in case.

I have "hard time" with Ukraine material, as now, same before, with "direct" purchase from UkraPost Company.

In last few years, I "switched" to one collector, from capital of Ukraine, who was able to send new issues, but, after few orders, I was left without money and supplier.

So, last two years I have supplier from Russia, but he don't have "stable" new issue supply.

Probably, and in the case that You need all new issues, eBay will be single possibility.

Thanks Milco! I eventually saw this website and the listed prices seem reasonable. I'm not sure how reliable it is especially with limited material but it does seem more trustworthy than random eBay sellers.

...I mentioned my experience with UkraPoshta, any way - I visited site again, and for my surprise, they have a lot of "personalized" issues, to my sorrow, it will just ruin name of serious issuing policy, as main stamp catalogs will not list "personalized" issues....

Thank you for pointing out the website I posted earlier may be unsafe. I've edited that previous post to remove the link, add a warning, and I'm just leaving the website address for reference only.

And also thank you for pointing out the Ukrposhta website. I've been on that one before but was confused about the navigation. But I tried again today, and after some frustration, finally stumbled on the correct webpage to order stamps. I was surprised to see how much they have from many years back.

"... I was surprised to see how much they have from many years back...."

...they have a HUGE stocks of material, it is because they print quantity out of proportion for real need!

As I see from Michel catalog, 2022 year issue "Tank & Tractor" was printed in three million samples/quantity.
Other issues are printed between 100 000 to 300 000 ....
So, a lot of material go unsold, especially now, when war is going on, and most of population don't use to send mail anymore.

I understand it as just "factory" that produce postage stamps and offering it to dealers with some discount.

I like policy that Serbia, or Slovakia have!
Printing quantity go around 30-35 000 per issue, most of it go to subscribers for new issues and small quantity will go to post offices, probably some of it go to dealers.

I would guess the postal history (if any) in the occupied areas would be the most attractive aspect in the future. Does Russia use Russian stamps? Post offices on either side?

I am guessing that postal history in conflict (war) areas in the modern age will look much different than it has previously simply because of electronic communication. Until the age of e-mail the snail mail system was necessary but today not so much. I will say that during my six years in Iraq and Afghanistan (2005-2010) the APO's were very busy places but mostly for packages. I used them a fair bit and was even an authorized mail clerk for my people for a while. Ukraine would likely be the same? That's not to say there are not collecting opportunities but I don't think the richness of material will come close to comparing to pre-internet times.
