It was a Marxist–Leninist communist party, established in April 1946 as a merger between the East German branches of the Communist Party of Germany and Social Democratic Party of Germany.

DDR issued a long series about memorial monuments of the Nazi's concentration and death camps during WWII. Here are several of them on covers: Mauthausen, Majdanek, Auschwitz-Birkenau and Mittelbau-Dora-Nordhausen:

Here is a selection of most of the stamps in the series:

Sheesh!
I looked back of book, in my German Albums. Nothing.
(of course didn't bother looking in the DDR album)

That's why the Text string wasn't found in my Germany also.

Thanks Postmaster.

Quote:
The Paris Commune (French: Commune de Paris) was a revolutionary government that seized power in Paris, the capital of France, from 18 March to 28 May 1871.

During the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 to 1871, the French National Guard had defended Paris, and working-class radicalism grew among its soldiers. Following the establishment of the Third Republic in September 1870 and the complete defeat of the French Army by the Germans by March 1871, soldiers of the National Guard seized control of the city on March 18. They killed two French army generals and refused to accept the authority of the Third Republic, instead attempting to establish an independent government.

The Commune governed Paris for two months, establishing policies that tended toward a progressive, anti-religious system of social democracy, including the separation of church and state, self-policing, the remission of rent, the abolition of child labor, and the right of employees to take over an enterprise deserted by its owner. Feminist, socialist, communist and anarchist currents played important roles in the Commune. However, the various Communards had little more than two months to achieve their respective goals. The national French Army suppressed the Commune at the end of May during La semaine sanglante ("The Bloody Week") beginning on 21 May 1871.(Wiki)

Centenary of the Paris Commune, issued on March 9, 1971:
