I'm a sucker for Polish pre-war single-useage covers, had a bit of a fight on ebay to get this but well worth it. 1927 Aug 5 Warsaw to Holland 25gr of the Medicine issue of 1927 May 8, paying the international postcard rate. The postmark commemorates a Chemical conference in Warsaw & is catalogued as 'rare', very nice indeed.  |

Hello all, Couldn't control myself again at $2.40 all up with postage included. With a quick look it turns up a Scott # E5a, "Dots in curved frame above messenger,(plate 882)" by the look of it. I will see how it comes up with a swim to float off the paper & hinge on the back. But a good day, as I jumped on the lot for my Motorcycle collection. All the best....Jad    |

Got my copy of the 2017 Scott US Specialized (been needing a new one, my most recent edition was 2009). Got via Amazon's third-party seller listings, used my Amazon points from my Amazon Visa card so the new catalog all told cost me less than US$80.00 (including only US$4.00 shipping), and arrived in three days from my time of ordering. (and was delivered by USPS) |

Today I got in the mail a Scott Specialty Japan album up to 1980. There are black mounts from 1930 onward. Advantage - easy to add stamps, disadvantage - no pictures. No stamps in the album. That gives me a lot of holes to fill. I need to check prices on MNH year sets to start since the mounts are there and waiting. I know absolutely nothing about Japanese stamps. I can't wait to get started. |
