Hello, I have a couple from GB. I don't have a scanner, so hopefully these photos will do.

Okay, I couldn't get the photo of the fronts to upload. It said the file was too large even though it wasn't. The stamps are all from the 50s and 60s era definitives except for S&B/LD, which I believe is a 1924-26 one penny King George V.

The first four, evidently, are 'Wildings.' The last one has a 'Royal Cypher' waternark, i.e., it is from the 1913 -1923 period.

Hello!
I came across this singular perfin! Can anybody help me? I haven't seen many diagonal perfins yet and less with whole words written...

Could this be some kind of official perfin or from some newspaper?

Thanks a lot!

Is that a real perfin? It looks like someone had little to do and put a pin to the stamp.

I think it is a real perfin. Maybe the machine wasn't sharp anymore?

I would appreciate help identifying the perfin on this stamp - I believe it is a Scott GB116. Apologies for the lack of a reverse scan for now. At least it has a clear cancel.

Hi,

This isn't easy from the front but one candidate could be:

J.W/&Co.

This was used by James Watson & Co. Ltd, Scotch Whisky Merchants, Seagate, Dundee.

That fits neatly with the Scots 114 Dundee numeral postmark.

The "W" doesn't look right to me but this is my best guess.

Thank you for your response sir. I believe you are correct in your assessment of this perfin. I was able to locate the item in storage and photograph the reverse:

And I blew it... The perfin is JB & Co, rather than JW & Co.

Thanks for the picture of the back. That makes things so much easier.

This is:

J.B/&Co.

Jaffe Brothers & Co., Linen & Jute Manufacturers, Dundee.

Dundee was famous for its jute industry.
