Nice! Thanks jaxom. Guess I need to do a little adjusting to my scanner.

I found the Plate 1 Late right pane recut chart on Stamp Smarter most helpful. Especially seeing the above and below stamp views including the adjacent stamps directly above and below. This is a great resource. Thanks for putting it together.

I finished the new guide dot chart for plate 1 late, right pane.
The new chart has new and larger images.
Here is a copy of the new chart and the old chart.
What do you guys think?

Did anyone here purchase the 1c type IV block of 12 that Cherrystone sold tonight?
They were kind enough to send me 1200 dpi image at my request.
It was position 41-44---51-54---61-64L1L.
I put the individual images in the database.

Rick - I'm happy you were on the ball and got a scan of that block - that's terrific.

I saw the item and was interested, but I've actually never bought from Cherrystone, although I've heard good things about them. I guess I get comfortable with a certain list of sellers, and I usually stay within that group when I buy.

On your guide dot chart - I really like the big images. When looking at guide dots, bigger images are nice to have to detect minute positional differences in the dot. That's very nice.

The 1c resources on stampsmarter are pretty nice - thanks!

I second txstamp's words of praise for the guide dot charts. Another benefit of the larger images is that they make it easier to discern the shapes of the dots.

I have finally finished my detail images for plate 1 late. I started the project on the left pane a week before Christmas. It has taken most of my free time for almost 3 months. I have sent the images to Lorry for him to implement in our plating program along with the data sheet that I created while working on them. It should make type IVs finished in the program. I can't wait to do some testing on the program.

Take a look at the plate 1 late database and see what you think.
