Ricky93, I can feel your pain. I have the US Specialized but when it comes to non-US stamps I'm a bit lost. Not sure if your local library can help you but our local public library actually has full sets of the current (2017) and previous (2016) Scotts Catalogs that can be signed out.

As a note: I never buy new catalogs. I always buy them about two years old, every other year. The price seems to drop dramatically when they turn 2 years old.

Jeff

I'd trade online. There used to be a few yahoo e-mail groups for this purpose. Perhaps you can find folks who want some of your lots in trade for things you can use. Be wary of international traders- there always seems to be a consistent thread around "cheaters."

Hi shermae,

Can you, or someone else on this forum give me some hints/names of yahoo groups where I can safely trade online?
I am very interested in those groups.
And where do I need to look at before sending my stamps to someone online.
Maybe I can get off my overstock at that way.

Also a question about trading on this forum:
Am I allowed to sell my stamps in the designated area's here or
is trading the only allowed form here?

Kind Regards,

Ricky93

Ricky, you can sell on this forum. And remember, you can always donate some items, like low value stuff.

Sounds like your price is too high.
I sell world mixture on eBay, starting at 99p for a packet of about 70g of off-paper stamps -- many hundreds of stamps in such a bag.
Sometimes I only get one bidder, and the bag goes for 99p, but its all stuff that I have to get rid of some way or other, so I'm happy with that.
Of course I'm even happier when it goes for more!

I can get at eBay 100 different stamps, including shipment, for less than 2$, even when I buy 1000 dif stamps, so IMHO your pricing is not realistic.

As for trade, I use tradeonlystamps.com and rather satisfied with them.
