Hello all stamp fellas, I have a question about kiloware.

I love to soak stamps.
So I mostly buy kiloware.

But, as many of you already know, there are a lot of stamps from countries that I'm not interested in or already have in a better quality.

What can I do with my other off-paper "overstock" stamps?
I already tried to sell them on eBay, but the packages of stamps didn't sell.
Not even a single package sold on eBay.
FYI: I sell the packages per one hundred stamps for 5 euros and free shipping worldwide.

What oh what should I do with my overstock???

Kind greetings and thanks in advance,
Ricky93

Sadly, I suspect that the base price for most stamps is more like 1p or 1c a stamp. At that point, the effort of selling them on ebay just becomes too much!

Per GeoffHa's comment, they're worth what you can get for them. You might try slightly bigger groups to trade on this site for a like amount, of course keeping in mind weight vs. postage needed.

You could join the The International Society of World Wide Stamp Collectors (http://iswsc.org/) and sign up for one or more of their swap circuits.

The going rate on eBay for packets of random common stamps, even with free shipping, is in the 2-3 cent per stamp range, or even less. At that rate, you don't really net very much after eBay fees, but at least you get something, as opposed to the nothing you get when they just sit there in your duplicate pile. At 5 cents per stamp, most collectors will be looking for slightly better-than-average stamps (relatively speaking), and your listing better show that to be the case or you probably won't sell very many of them.

The material you posted images of is very common. If you were selling complete sets that might result in an increase (albeit small) in their desirability. Otherwise, I doubt you are going to have much luck selling them -- YMMV.

Okay thanks for telling me that, dkabq8.
An other question:

Do I have a higher selling chance if I it as World kiloware off paper??
Then make small lots of world stamps, or something like that......

Need to get your stamps into the issued sets and sell them that way.

If a issued set comes out with a difference, like self adhesive & sheet stamps it is also a good way to sell them.

The more different issued sets you have on offer the more people get attracted to your eBay store.

Who wants single stamps when you can buy the issued sets?

Okay got that KGV.
So how do I get them into sets?
Because I don't have all the catalogs to find out...
I have stamps from all over the world, to sell...

For Australia's latest releases for example I use a stamp dealer of Australian stamps from the UK call Steve Irwin. He has images of all Australian stamps. Great score for me & the name Steve Irwin is famous here in Aussie to boot so it is easy to remember.

Find your most have country stamps and search & search & search.

While you are searching you will find others that are selling very cheap singles that can make your more expensive complete sets.

This is how I got to be listing 1,500 eBay listings every week by searching & searching etc.
