With the retirement of the Space Shuttle imminent, I wanted to offer to forum members one space cover that was cancelled on launch date of Space Shuttle missions. I can email an image of the cover if interested. Please email me with your mailing address and I'll send one out to you. This offer is not limited to the United States.

John,
Could you post an image of the cover here? I am sure everyone would like to see it. I have one of the covers from a Challenger launch in the 1980's, it was a folder with info on the flight and a place for the cover.

Very nice John. Is that the mission patch design used as the cachet?

I have added a cover to the giveaway. For those who already replied to my offer, I will add a shuttle launch cover similiar to the one shown below. So it will be 2 covers per request.

That cover brings to mind a curly problem we had with Ajman stamps,
we had 4 stamps that were not printed, but were involved in
"space research" , so who were these men?

I think is was the very sharp Ryan , from SCF that identified
the fellow with the 'tache, as Robert Goddard,
the man that the launch centre is named after (bottom right).

And he's keeping company with Newton, Galileo and Jules Verne.
