New To This Forum, Looking For Gift Ideas

I'm looking to get something for my uncle who's turning 70 soon, I know he's big into collecting stamps but i'm still not sure what to get him.
I found this cool picture with a stamp in it, I was wondering if t's a good idea and whether he'd appreciate it. Are these stamps rare or is there anything special about them? I don't even know what questions to ask to know if it would be a good gift.

These are overpriced contrived collectibles with worthless stamps. I would not try to buy for a person's hobby as collecting can be quite specific and full of personal choices.

You might consider asking to see his stamp collection. That might be a real birthday surprise.
