Would like to know the year issued. Also, I'm not really sure of the denomination and are the ink scribbles likely a crude cancellation? Thanks for any help on this. Jim
Jim, the stamp as you show it is Scott 1518, from the regular issue of 1970-76. It also exists as a precancel. In case you wonder, the "marker monkey" cancelled your stamp. If you search for "marker monkey" on this forum you will find out what I am talking about. I can tell you this much - it is not very collectible or attractive this way.
