From Italy To Ireland (1836) - With A Plenty Of Postmarks!

Every of these 2 letters have 10 postmarks (as much as I can count). A lot of Postal History on 2 covers, really...

The first one has been sent from Italy (Milano), and for the 2nd one I am not so sure.

Well, I can tell you one thing ... the second cover was probably mailed in October, 1836

The second letter can be from Como (Northern Italy, not far from Milan)on September 24th. The postage seems to be the same.

Yes, Cursus, thank you for the correct direction. I have been so preoccupied with the "Elphin 75" Irish mileage mark on the first cover, so thought that Como... should be the same tape. But, it is the Como postmark, because it is on the correct place.

Also, I am always writing "Italy", but, in 1836, Milano has been a part of the Austria (Lombardy-Venice province).
