Hi

During a recent purchase we found the stamp below.

I have come across this listing ( http://goscf.com/t/15337 ) but on checking our references Stanley Gibbons Simplified world catalogue we are struggling to find an SG or Value.

We have also checked http://www.allworldstamps.com/ and can't find an actual value, I know that it isn't the best i.e. only two margins but are eager to identify this stamp.

I hope someone can help
Thanks in advance
Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
You can find it here on allwordstamps.com - http://www.allworldstamps.com/resul...range=N&pg=1

Value would be only a few pence I think.

Hello Steve!

In the Scott Specialized Classic Cat.:

#135 for Two Pence Violet - $0.70
#136 for Two Pence Violet-greenish - $17.00
#137 for Two Pence Violet-buff - $17.00
#137A for Two Pence - Violet-Lilac $ 475.00 (very rare!).

Here the big problem is to identify the colors, sometimes the color through the scanner is a bit altered, you need to check and compare the color with another stamps of the same Country.

I hope this helps!

Regards!
Rodolfo
