I know this is a perforated Jersey revenue, but apart from that I could use more help, such as value etc..

Here is a better pic, and for those of you with little faith my source is from "Channel Islands revenues" by John Simpson (5th edition 1997). I have been specializing in Jersey stamps and postal history for over 40 years, (because I am from there)..

Nice item. Wow, 100 pounds! If it follows all the other countries revs, it should be worth a pretty penny
(british or otherwise! :-)

It's not a point of little faith,
you should attempt to offer as much information
to assist others that may wish to help you.
Like date of issue where you received your information
If you specialise you should be able to offer
us pertinent information.

From what I gather, the states of Jersey is about to issue
a 100 pound banknote in 2012
images abound with SPECIMEN on these.
It appears they have to get permission to print
and banknote above 50pounds.

The above stamp may be an essay or something,
it is not listed in Barefoot, Jersey does not get a mention.

1979
Perf 11x12
Bradbury Wilkinson

Barefoot #37

100 pounds grey-blue GBP 50
ditto (SPECIMEN) GBP 20

were printed in 1981 by house of questa
same designs but not for the 5 pounds or 100 pounds issues

genrally lighter shades than brad wilk

(it is worthy of note, Jersey does not appear in the
barefoot "commonwealth revenues" but does so under
barefoot's "Great Britain Revenues")
