My husband found a George Washington stamp a long time ago and we were wondering when it was made. It's never been used, still has the paper on back. Can anyone tell us? Thanks!

Hi this is a used stamp still on a piece of the envelope. You can see trace of cancel black ink. I think you confuse the paper with the one of the self adhesive modern stamp.

The stamps is a little bit over 90 years old

Welcome, sadly the stamp is in poor condition and mass produced. Keep up the hunt!

Sorry,
It shows only characteristics of common stamps that were produced by the millions.

Regardless, it does feel "cool" to hold in your hand something that was produced during the 1920s.

Best of luck,
Ryan
