That is correct. This stamp is part of the socalled Vienna issue from 1919. It was prepared but never officially issued. There are 14 stamps in the set and these stamps have no real value. Michel has them at the minimum c.v.

Is anyone able to suggest the appropriate tariff
on a recent Ukraine stamp (wheat stalks)
an NVI with the rate as "E"

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rodney,

The 2001/2003/2004 wheat stamps were each sold at 3h.65.

Thanks Nigel,
I had two on piece,
I'll take it as 3h65 being the overseas rate
not local, until otherwise informed.
Also the 5th Letter "E" would add weight to the supposition.

Hi apastuszak,

The link you posted looks very promising but whenever I try and see information on a particular issue I just get a page from an Edmonton ISP.

Yes, so do I here in Halifax, Canada. Other links seem to load and contact some network but nothing is displayed. Maybe they didn't pay their bill.

I noticed that on some pages. But I just went through individual stamps for 1992 and the ones I tried were OK. Is there a specific page you're trying to get to? Perhaps it's in my browser cache and I can send what I have.

Yep, the 2001 "E" stamp, goes straight to Edmonton.

Well, isn't that annoying. You can't email the guy that runs the site either. I tried that, and my mail got bounced back to me. A few weeks later the email address was removed from the site, and there is no contact info on the site at all.

I managed to get an email off to the author, and he told me he just fixed a bunch of dead links on his site. It might be worth trying the site again.

I found the stamp.

http://www.ukrainian-philately.info...stmp0359.htm

Technically, it's not an E. The letter is pronounced similar to "Ye." That's the cyrillic alphabet for you...

I use that site extensively when I work on Ukrainian Stamp Album. I had a vested interest in making sure he fixed all the dead links!
