Hello, Once again I need help with revenus stamps. The forst one I think is an income tax stamp? Not totaly sure. The las two are Stuttgart Mobelmesse stamps. Are these local issues? I translated Mobelmesse using Google translate and it came up with furniture fair which made no sense to me. Would these have been used on invoices for the sale of furniture?
As always all information is most gratefuly appreciated.
David

Both are correct. 1st is "Income Tax", 2nd and 3rd are Stuttgart Furniture Fair Tax. Each type of furniture was assigned a value and taxed accordingly. They were issued in May and December of each year from May 1890 to May 1914. Each issue is a different color and or design. The Green is either 1897 or 1898. I think the the Blue is 1912.

The first one is an income tax stamp.

The bottom two are furniture tax stamps from the Stuttgart furniture fair. A tax was charged on each piece of furniture sold in an amount set by the "Regulations for the Furniture Fair".
