I have been picking up odd stamps here and there but the error stamps that I am posting about have been ones that came into my possession the normal way: buying stamps to use. And I say "picking up" because I haven't made a concerted effort to "collect",
per se., with, perhaps, a couple of small exceptions.
I had to explain this to you because the stamp in this post was one that was bought over the counter. My eyesight was better in those days and this caught my eye:


I don't know how common ink smears are but I look forward to hearing more about them.
The tweezers in the photograph are to keep the stamps flat for the camera.
