It is fake. The letters of "POSTAGE" being thicker than the other lettering is a major tell along with the "N" of "Western" being not as close to the border as the genuine stamp. The overall quality of engraving is poor as well.

The "U" in Australia is a dead give away.

It is a Spiro forgery and actually quite collectable. The " cancel " is distinctive of the Spiro forgeries as well.
