Parcelpostguy: Try to understand the what that statement is actually saying. "Bids are accepted so long as a bid for a valid amount is received by eBay's server BEFORE the auction ends!"

Notification lag has nothing to do with the actual ending time of the auction!

I stand by my statement: If eBay states an auction closes at 4:06PM PDT; a bid posted at 4:06.01PM PDT or later is a "LATE BID" and "MUST NOT" be honored because is was NOT received by eBay's server before the end of the auction!

I'm guessing if Ebay accepted the bid, the auction wasn't over? Pretty sure this has been explained more than a couple ways.

Let me know how the class action lawsuit against eBay for posting bids a fraction of a second after they are received goes for you...
