I use AI in my philatelic work every single day and the time saving I realize from it allows me to donate more of time to other philatelic projects and efforts such as moderating this community.
And using this thread as a sole context, any collector who can use AI enhanced image searches to lookup a stamp/cover in hand or to learn more about a stamp/cover in hand has a greatly increased their capabilities and are saving significant amounts of time.

Would you support children using AI during spelling bees, math competitions, weekly quizzes and other tests. What about AI for performing essays, dissertations, political speeches, arguments, fact based or not, meant to change opinion. Use in card game tournaments such as poker, blackjack, chess and Jeopardy were all have the same level of information and understanding. This reduces the need for education as everyone would have access to the same information. No one can claim discrimination just properly fix blame on their own poor performance by self with the same information access as others.
Then there is AI and machines to replace human low level or rote workers, but that becomes too political to discuss.
