Offers for specialized Machins would certainly be great especially if the varieties are identified. Thanks.

This seller offers ranges of identified stamps.

Note 'varieties' tend to be displaced phosphor bars. These are 'specialised.'

Shermae - I have a assorted lot of machins - about 100 - that I picked up somewhere as part of a collection, but I have no idea if there are any special ones in there since they are not marked and I know nothing about them. I assume they're pretty common and probably not what you're looking for, but you're welcome to have them gratis if you have any interest. Otherwise, I'll give them in some general giveaway. Pls let me know.

Oracle,

There are quite a few stamps from Prestige Stamp Books in that set. Going on the multiples, I suspect you have a good specialised set of the Scottish regionals including phosphor bar and paper/gum varieties.

NSK - these are the only machins that I am aware that I have; they were part of a larger more general GB collection. I don't collect them and know little about them, so they're available if others who do collect these might want them.

What I was suggesting is these already appear to be quite specialised.

I think the 31p type II is not there, but I suspect the stamps that appear to be multiples, in fact, are different stamps. If I am correct, that is a very good range of Scottish regionals.

As I noted, I know little about these, didn't even realize they were the Scottish regionals.

The lion rampant was used on Scottish regionals, a dragon on the Welsh, the triskelion on the Manx, and hand in star on the Ulster regionals. The basic ones did not have a symbol.

The 23p yellow-green stamp with the attached label with a blue lion is from a mixed-value pane from a Prestige Stamp Book. I think 'The Scots Connection.'

Given that I have less than ten Machins in my collection and very little knowledge so far, the kinds of lots I am interested in buying would be anything from very basic stamps to stamps with perf, shade, phosphor, and other non-error varieties
