The edges are unusually rough looking. I am sure they should be much cleaner cut, so I would assume that is an obvious sign of a bogus issue.

The edges on that stamp are perfectly normal for coils currently produced by Banknote Corporation of America and it's predecessor Sennett Security Products. The coils are packaged in 'sticks' of rolls that are attached to each other. The sticks can be up to 10 rolls long. The small bits of paper you see along the edges hold the rolls together in the stick until a roll is broken off for a customer. These are known as 'bridges' among PNC collectors. Earlier issues had widely spaced bridges and there may not be one on every stamp. More recently the denser pattern as on this stamp has been used and has been termed microbridges.

The die cut simulated perforations on the illustrated stamp also look normal for a BCA coil. Unless there are other disqualifying properties, the stamp looks legitimate to me.

Stick of 2 attached coils:

I just saw an ad for counterfeit Disney Villains sheets, which is one I hadn't seen before.

Mr. Revcollector, was the ad for "counterfeit stamps" or for Disney Villain Stamps that you know are counterfeit. Disney is collectible so I assume that the stamps are being hawked as genuine.

They were being sold on a fake USPO site on Facebook. 10 panes of 20 for half face. They were counterfeit Disney stamps.

This past week I was presented with 12 different ads for deeply discounted US forever stamps. Checked out the underlying website pages. Most copied a pile if USPS logos to look legit. Seems like there is really one one underlying group trying multiple "names" to sell the same fakes

The listing has been taken down. I wonder what will happen to the purchases already made.

An ebay seller (with below average feedback) used six of these as postage to pay for shipping to me. Fortunately the stamps I purchased were genuine... very good deal but the fake postage is an alarm bell and we won't be doing business again.

First image has glare from a flash, my apologies. Second image is under UV.

Anyone who seriously collects these may have the cover for the asking, so long as they meet the 50+ posting requirement.

Hello, do you need more cheaper forever stamps, they are anti-counterfeiting stamps and could be used normally. I could provide many styles, thank you!

etween the zero feedback and the awkward "anti-counterfeiting stamps" and the "many styles", 100% sure they are counterfeit.

I would consider that a very safe bet.
