Many Sampans. I was working in Singapore in 1971 and this was a very common view. Very interesting.

A sequence of generators in Boulder Dam.

My parents and grandparents were taking a family vacation in 1941 and we were touring Boulder Dam on Dec. 7. We were standing on one of the observation platforms when the speakers came on with the live broadcast by President Roosevelt announcing the bombing of Pearl Harbor. "A day that will live in infamy". we were the last tour of Boulder Dam til the end of the war. I still have a clear mental picture of the event. I was 5 1/2 years old.

I acquired this postcard because of the array of columns in the congressional library.

Having lived in the Los Angeles area for many years, I got interested in the building mentioned in the address, the H.W. Hellman Bldg in downtown Los Angeles. For anyone else interested see http://www.laloft.com/hellman-building/

These are all great! I was in the Library of Congress in 2018 and I remember those columns.
