Attractive and interesting to me are these T.B. Christmas Seal Bonds:

Missing a denomination on one and missing a serious amount of printing on another, but I still am happy with this purchase. As an aside I cannot find anything on the internet about these documents.

"The National Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association name began use in 1968 and changed in 1973 to the American Lung Association.

The American Lung Association, or ALA, is a non-profit organization that "fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and air quality."

The organization was founded in 1904 to fight tuberculosis as the National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis. Renamed the National Tuberculosis Association, or NTA, in 1918 and the National Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association, or NTRDA, in 1968, it adopted its current name in 1973. Its most famous tagline was and remains, "It's a matter of life and breath."

A modified version of the Cross of Lorraine serves as a logo for the Lung Association. The Paris, France, physician Dr. Gilbert Sersiron suggested its use in 1902 as a symbol for the "crusade" against tuberculosis.

James E. Perkins, 84, former managing director of the National Tuberculosis Assn., now the American Lung Assn. The epidemiologist was part of the first delegation to the World Health Organization formed after World War II and worked for the New York State Health Department as commissioner and director of communicable diseases before joining the tuberculosis association. During World War II he was a senior surgeon with the Public Health Service Reserve.

Neat items! First time I've seen any of these. It looks like the first couple may have been intaglio engraved and the rest lithographs? They would have a slightly rough feel if the ink is raised.
