This set was issued for Philatec 1964 held in Paris Two stamps from the 1900 definitives, type Blanc and type Mouchon are shown. The originals were printed in typography whereas these were beautifully engraved by Jules Piel. France Scott 1088a  |

Very nice set thanks for showing it.
I believe they were printed offset/litho by Cartor Security Printers.
Would have been something if each reproduction had been printed
in the origional method, engraved,typography,photogravure and finally offset/litho. |

Thanks lithograving! Confirmation from Norvic website: "The 41 x 30 mm stamps were designed by hat-trick design and are printed in two sheets of 50 (se-tenant strips of 5) in lithography by Cartor Security Printers on paper with conventional gum". https://blog.norphil.co.uk/2024/04/...orative.html |
